InBalance

 

One of our current projects, ‘INBalance’ is an affordable, fun and gentle exercise class that motivates over 60's to stay active whilst helping their community at the same time.

 

All class fees are passed on directly to local charities.

What do our classes entail?

Beanbags

Bean bags can enhance brain gym exercises by improving cognitive function. Activities like tossing and catching engage hand-eye coordination and stimulate brain areas linked to motor skills and concentration. Using bean bags in these exercises can boost focus, memory, and overall cognitive abilities.

Balls

Ball exercises enhance visual tracking, reaction time, and concentration by improving coordination between the eyes and body movements. Staying focused on the ball is key, and adding another task can increase the challenge.

Extend

EXTEND exercise sessions are tailored for men and women over 60 or those with limited mobility, providing an enjoyable hour of activity set to familiar music. The sessions include standing exercises with optional chair support and at least 20 minutes of seated exercises to suit participants' abilities.
